Going into the newspaper, I had little photography experience, but worked on developing my photojournalism skills freshman year, and became the photos editor my sophomore and junior year.

Being Editor meant that I would preside over the photos staff, delegating assignments and answering photography questions, as well as handling all of staff photography. As photos editor, I implemented a series of guides that detailed proper camera etiquette, headshots, and photography technniques, among other things. I so appreciate this opportunity to take on a leadership position and learn more about one of the many subdivisions of journalism.
